Stockland has launched Halcyon Yandina – a $200 million-plus land lease community nestled in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

The 17-hectare site between Steggalls Road and Brandons Road will be transformed into a vibrant, resort-style community for over50s seeking a rural escape with all the comforts of modern living.

Halcyon Yandina will offer extensive lifestyle facilities including a 25-metre lap pool, sauna, steam room, and a clubhouse featuring a gold-class style cinema and private dining areas. A creative hub will include a library, workshop and arts studio. With its backdrop of rolling paddocks and towering gum trees, the community will also boast pedestrian-friendly pathways and green open spaces that blend seamlessly with the natural landscape.

Stockland Project Director Andrew Astorquia said the launch marks an exciting chapter for the region: “Halcyon Yandina will provide a connected and active community for those looking to make a rural escape,” Andrew said. “The community is nestled between a beautiful natural backdrop and is surrounded by Yandina’s rich history and welcoming community.”

In line with its strong focus on community connection, Stockland is also investing in a significant upgrade of the Yandina Bowls Club, located directly across from the new community. The partnership will support facility improvements including lighting, new furnishings, and long-overdue refurbishments – ensuring the volunteer-run club can continue to serve the wider community well into the future.

Alex Blake, Secretary of the Yandina Bowls Club, said the collaboration with Stockland is a meaningful step forward.

“Thanks to their support, we’ll be able to upgrade our club facilities and make it an even more welcoming place for locals to come together,” Alex said. “It’s a real win-win – for us, for them, and for the wider community.”

Halcyon Yandina is just a short walk to Yandina village and a short drive to Coolum Beach and Noosa Heads. Known as the ‘Ginger Town’, Yandina offers a vibrant local scene including the iconic Ginger Factory, Yandina Markets, and Gun Cotton Coffee Roasters, with everyday amenities and natural beauty right on the doorstep.
