Aspire at Calleya celebrates grand opening of stunning new clubhouse

01 August 2019

Stockland’s popular Aspire at Calleya is set to officially open its new, exclusive Clubhouse within the over 55s community.

WA Member for Jandakot Yaz Mubarakai MLA, Mayor of Cockburn, Logan Howlett, Deputy-Mayor of Cockburn, Lee-Ann Smith, will join representatives from Stockland and local residents to celebrate the official opening of the Clubhouse on Friday, 2 August.

Situated at the heart of the Aspire community, the Clubhouse will offer a place for residents to unwind, workout, catch up with neighbours and entertain family and friends.

David Allington, Regional Development Manager, Stockland, said that Aspire at Calleya offers a new type of home that meets the needs of the modern retiree.

“Aspire is for customers who are not necessarily wanting to move into an apartment or retirement village but are still looking to downsize and have access to all of the great benefits and amenities that come with living in an over 55s community.

“The exclusive new Clubhouse will offer residents a community-focused, luxurious spot to relax and socialise with friends and family – with a heated outdoor swimming pool, gym, covered alfresco dining and BBQ facilities, lounge with fireplace, and an entertaining kitchen and bar.”

WA Member for Jandakot Yaz Mubarakai MLA, said: “Congratulations to Stockland Aspire at Calleya on the opening of the new Aspire Clubhouse. The wide range of amenities the clubhouse will offer residents ensures they will have an enjoyable lifestyle in their retirement years.”

City of Cockburn Mayor Logan Howlett said that lifestyle choice opportunities are becoming increasingly important in communities as people of all ages seek to secure their future family home.

“The Clubhouse at Aspire Calleya provides the perfect location to build friendships as residents come together to share in a purpose built facility featuring an amazing array of recreational opportunities and other spaces to just sit back and relax, enjoy casual conversations or to immerse themselves in a good book.

“I look forward to the opportunity to meet residents of Calleya’s Aspire as they come together in the relatively new suburb of Treeby. The resilience and ‘happiness’ factor of all communities is built around people of a like mind who celebrate all life has to offer.”

Aspire at Calleya resident Rob Osborn said that moving into the over 55s community was the best decision that he and his wife could have made at this stage of their lives.

“The community has everything that we could possibly want or need. The people are kind and share similar interests, the homes are very high quality and there is a great sense of security.

“The facilities are exceptional and we see the new Clubhouse as the crown jewel of the community. We look forward to many good times there and from what we have seen, we are sure it will be absolutely brilliant.”

Centrally located within the thriving Calleya community in Treeby, Stockland has created a range of modern and future-proofed homes for people 55 and over.

The community is structured under strata title, with most costs paid upfront, meaning residents retain all capital gains and complete ownership of their home and land.*
