A luxurious townhome project at North Lakes is attracting strong interest from buyers keen to live in the heart of Stockland’s thriving masterplanned community with almost 50 per cent of the homes now sold.

Stockland’s SoLa development, which comprises 120 designer two and three bedroom townhomes, is being built on a prime site adjacent to Lake Eden and Westfield North Lakes.

Town Living by Metricon has designed the contemporary two-level homes which feature the latest trends in architecture and interior design and offer buyers easy access to the booming North Lakes Town Centre, transport and entertainment precincts.

Stockland Regional Manager, David Laner, said that the stylish, low-maintenance townhomes were proving popular with a range of buyers including first home buyers, families, downsizers and investors.

“Many of the buyers already live at North Lakes and are looking forward to the low maintenance lifestyle on offer and being able to stroll over to the nearby retail precinct,” Mr Laner said.

Mr Laner said that construction was well underway on the development with the first of the townhomes due for completion mid-year. “I would urge anyone thinking of buying one of the SoLa townhomes to act quickly,’’ he said.

“It’s not every day that you have an opportunity to buy a home in the middle of a thriving town centre with everything you need on your doorstep while also overlooking green, natural spaces and a gorgeous lake.”

Following the early sales success of the Townside Precinct, the second phase of the project has just been released featuring two brand new floor plans, priced from$405,000.

Mr Laner said that buyers were impressed by the layout of the homes and how spacious they were.

“The-three-bedroom townhomes have a double garage which has been a popular feature, as have the generous open plan layouts and dual living options,” he said.

Meanwhile, all SoLa townhomes feature high ceilings, timber floors, reverse cycle air-conditioning, Smeg appliances, stone benchtops and natural colour schemes.

SoLa is also set to benefit from continued growth in the region, including the opening of the Mango Hill Train Station in 2016, The Moreton Bay University Precinct at Petrie, new Event Cinemas and new restaurant and fresh food precincts coming to the Town Centre.

North Lakes is one of Queensland’s most successful and highly awarded communities and has become the commercial, retail and residential hub of Brisbane’s northern corridor.

Located just 30km from the Brisbane CBD, the masterplanned community is approaching 20,000 residents and currently has limited land available for sale. The community has struck a chord with a wide range of buyers because of its extensive housing options, convenient location, facilities and employment opportunities.

The North Lakes Town Centre and Business Park is home to Australia’s largest Bunnings, the Westfield North Lakes and Queensland’s first Costco and the construction of an Ikea store is well underway.
