Dazzling Atlantis Street Festival to launch display village at Foreshore Coomera

10 April 2019

Stockland’s Foreshore Coomera is set to come alive with a dazzling free Underwater Atlantis Street Festival to mark the official opening of the waterside community’s brand new display village on Saturday, 13 April.

Festival-goers will be treated to a visual feast as the $180 million community, nestled beside the Coomera River, launches the Foreshore Coomera Display Village with a stunning laser show and street parade, featuring King Neptune and Neon Jellyfish.

The parade will cap off an action-packed evening of free entertainment, including the opportunity for the young and the young at heart to ride on a pirate ship and meet Captain Jack Sparrow, along with live music and underwater-inspired arts and crafts from 4pm to 7pm.

Families will also be able to purchase a selection of mouth-watering treats from food trucks at the event, as well as inspect a showcase of 16 contemporary homes from some of the state’s top builders.

David Laner, Queensland General Manager for Residential Communities at Stockland, said everyone was welcome to come along and take part in the celebrations.

“Foreshore Coomera is a hive of activity and we are celebrating a number of milestones, including welcoming our first residents and opening the first of two major parks planned for this year,’’ Mr Laner said.

“We are delighted to be also opening a new state-of-the-art display village which will cater for buyers at all stages of life.

“The laser show is set to add to the ‘wow’ factor of our stunning display homes, which will offer a wealth of inspiration to anyone considering building a house by bringing an extensive array of the latest design trends to one location.

“From first home buyers to families, downsizers and upgraders, the new display village will cater for buyers at all stages of life.’’

Leading builders including Metricon Homes, Coral Homes, Ultra Living Homes, Dwyer Quality Homes, GC Unique Homes, Stroud Homes, Hotondo Homes, Bold Living, Simonds Homes and Spectrum Homes will showcase a range of innovative features in their latest designs at the display village, which is located at the corner of Oakey Creek Road and Foxwell Road.
