Family affair as construction starts on Edgebrook’s first homes

When the first residents of Stockland’s Edgebrook community in Clyde move into their brand new home in time for Christmas, they’ll have good reason to feel like they’re surrounded by family.

Sukhjeet Singh and his wife Sukhjinder are building the very first home in the new $208 million community and to add to their excitement, Mr Singh’s brother Gagandeep and his wife Jass are getting ready to build their own home next door.

“We’re very excited to be the first family to build a new home at Edgebrook and are really looking forward to moving in,” Mr Singh said.

“We’ve decided to buy at Edgebrook because we like the area and will have a lot of friends and family nearby.

“We think that Edgebrook is going to develop into a great community and it has so much to offer, being close to good schools, shops and great transport links.”

The first home buyers are building a four-bedroom single level home with Carlisle Homes and are expecting to move into their new abode with their eight-year-old son Harnivaaz in November.

Edgebrook was launched in March 2017 and the masterplanned community will ultimately comprise almost 800 homes spread across the 65-hectare site as well as a future central park built around Clyde Creek.
