International fashion arrives at Stockland Green Hills
Global fashion giant H&M has officially opened its doors at Stockland Green Hills.
The highly anticipated new store offers locals the full H&M experience, with an exciting array of on-trend apparel for men, women and kids, as well as accessories and homewares available.
Occupying a space of 2,300 square metres, H&M is set over two levels and joins over 50 fashion and specialty retailers in the centre’s new fashion mall.
Tony Tsekouras, General Manager, Retail Leasing at Stockland, said: “We’re very proud to welcome H&M, one of the world’s best-known global fashion retailers, to Stockland Green Hills.
“This is a great example of how we’re investing in new shopping opportunities and experiences that lift the calibre and quality of our retail portfolio.”
The store’s grand opening follows the $414 million re-development of Stockland Green Hills which has transformed the shopping centre into the premier fashion, lifestyle dining and entertainment destination for the Lower Hunter.
As part of the re-development Stockland Green Hills recently welcomed a number of new leading brands including Mecca Maxima, Seed, Decjuba, Tigerlily, Bonds, Harris Scarfe and the first new format David Jones store in the Hunter - taking the centre to around 74,000 square metres.
Chris Travers, Centre Manager at Stockland Green Hills, comments: “We are delighted to be opening H&M at Green Hills. With its on-trend and affordable fashion mix, H&M will make a fantastic addition to the centre’s strong retail offering and will bring a whole new sense of style to the Maitland region.
“With so many new brands and retailers, Stockland Green Hills has recently unveiled a new standard in retail for the region and is fast become a leading lifestyle and fashion shopping destination, on par with any major metro-city shopping centre in the country.”
H&M at Stockland Green Hills is Stockland’s fourth store for the portfolio, following the opening of H&M’s Sydney flagship store at Glasshouse on Pitt Street Mall in 2015 and last year’s openings at Stockland Townsville and Stockland Rockhampton.
H&M now has 28 stores across Australia and more than 4,700 stores globally.
