New retailers coming soon to Stockland Rockhampton

15 April 2016

Stockland continues to attract the biggest and best brands to Rockhampton. Perfect fine-fitting form and the ultimate in 'high-flex’ function will come together on Monday 16 May when Rockwear opens its doors for the first time at Stocky Rocky.

Rockwear General Manager, Tarryne Shotland, said: “Rockwear is designed for women who are looking for activewear that is functional, fashionable and great value. We’ve been around since 1991 so are not new to the game but with activewear becoming an extension of the Australian wardrobe, we’ve upped the ante, increasing our fashionability whilst remaining very focused on fit and quality."

“Our activewear moves from running to gym to yoga to bootcamp to flexing in your lounge room and lunching with your friends! We use high quality branded supplex and our own platinum fabric, which retains shape, is colourfast and is fast drying, so perfect for the climate of Central Queensland. Stockland Rockhampton is the perfect place for us to open our newest store.”

Rockwear offers sizes 6 – 18 and specialises in sports bras, tights, singlets, casual tees and tanks, run shorts and cheeky booty shorts as well as yoga mats, headbands, towels, workout gloves and gym bags.

Stockland Rockhampton has also revealed that a combined EB Games and Zing Pop Culture concept store will be opening soon at the centre.

The combined EB Games and Zing store will occupy premises double the size of the existing EB Games store, offering the very latest electronic games, together with the most highly prized and sought-after collectibles, limited edition figurines and pop culture merchandise.

Daniel Buchanan, Regional Retail Manager at Stockland, said: “Shopping at Stockland Rockhampton is always enticing and there’s always something new in store for our customers. We’re orchestrating an exciting remix of our retailers at the centre to offer our customers an even better retail experience.”

Rockwear and the combined EB Games and Zing Pop Culture store will join an impressive, new line up of retailers that have opened their doors at the centre for the first time ever in Rockhampton.

The new stores come hot on the heels of the highly successful and popular launch of The Terrace at Stockland Rockhampton, which is now home to Burger Urge, Guzman y Gomez Mexican Taqueria, Max Brenner Chocolate Bar and Gelatissimo.

The final two food retailers will soon get taste buds tingling with Rozzi’s Italian canteen ready to start shaking its skillet in May. This will be closely followed in June when Schnitz starts serving up perfect schnitzels in made-to-order in wraps and rolls, as well as its much-loved parma – all pan-cooked in a special crumb.

“We’re proud to be bringing new fashions, tastes and entertainment retailers to Central Queensland with a strong retail resurgence gathering momentum at Stockland Rockhampton,” explained Daniel Buchanan. “The calibre of new brands that have recently opened their doors, or will soon begin trading at Stockland Rockhampton, is exceptional.”
