Stockland appoints Nick McGrath to lead capital partnering strategy

Stockland today announcement the appointment of Nick McGrath as General Manager, Investment Management, to lead the group’s capital partnering and funds management business.

Nick McGrath has almost 20 years’ experience in Property and Funds Management in Australia and Asia, and joins Stockland from AMP Capital where he is the Fund Manager of the AMP Capital Wholesale Office Fund.

Stockland Managing Director and CEO Mark Steinert said: “I’m pleased that Nick is joining Stockland to help drive our capital partnering focus across all sectors of our business.

“Nick will be working directly with the Stockland Executive team to help drive this important part of our strategy.”

Over the past five years at AMP Capital, Nick has been responsible for managing a $6 billion prime office fund with interests in 12 assets located across Sydney and Melbourne, equity and debt raising; and driving the growth of the fund to support strategy execution.

Prior to his time at AMP Capital, Nick was CEO and MD of the AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT in Singapore, and has also held various roles in funds management with Allco, in both Sydney and Singapore.
