Stockland Balgowlah celebrates 10 years of serving customers

Stockland Balgowlah is proudly celebrating its 10 year anniversary with fun, carnival style in-centre activities for the entire family.

Customers can expect a ‘spin the birthday wheel’ with more than $9,000 worth of prizes to be won, including Stockland gift cards, haircuts, candles and toys, as well as services such as a car wash. There will also be free birthday mini cupcakes given out to celebrate the big 1-0.

Lisa Vaughan, Centre Manager at Stockland Balgowlah, said that the milestone is all thanks to the community of Balgowlah and beyond, whose support has contributed to the town centre’s growth and success.

“We want to celebrate with the community who continues to support us each year.

“We know what customers want and pride ourselves on our ability to deliver the products, services and variety that the community has come to expect from us, all in the convenience of one centralised location. We will continue to provide excellence and offer new and engaging experiences for our customers.”

The celebration activities will run from 11am to 2pm from Thursday 26 September to Saturday 28 September, or until all prizes have been awarded.

Ms Vaughan continued: “It’s incredible to also be recognised, at the same time as our anniversary, by the local community for the great work of our retailers at the Local Business Awards in the Northern Beaches.”

The retail town centre won four categories including Best Jeweller (Jewellery Galleria), Best Home Styling/Lifestyle Shop (Robins Kitchen), Best Pharmacy (Pharmacy Select) and Best Specialised Retailer (The Source Bulk Foods, Balgowlah).

The town centre first opened its doors to the public in June 2009, replacing the old Totem Shopping Centre built in 1959.
