Stockland launches Cloverton

26 March 2015

Stockland is offering new home buyers the first opportunity to stake their claim on land at Cloverton in Melbourne’s northern growth corridor, which will become the largest master planned community ever developed in Victoria.

The new residential community will cover 1,141 hectares will evolve and mature over the years into a city in its own right. Cloverton is located at Kalkallo on the eastern side of the Hume Highway, 35 kilometres north of the Melbourne CBD.

Stockland’s early release of residential land at Cloverton will comprise 34 lots, ranging from 294 square metres to 846 square metres with prices ranging from $129,000 to $230,000,respectively.Customers are invited to register their interest in acquiring one of the first lots for sale at www.stockland.com.au/Cloverton or by calling 13 LAND (5263).

“In time, Cloverton will grow to become a city in its own right, providing homes to more than 30,000 people,” explained Mr Davis. “Over the coming years we’ll develop a new city centre, complete with a medical precinct, childcare facilities, a total of eight new public and private schools and a regional tertiary institution. Expansive, new retail facilities are also planned and employment opportunities in the area will continue to grow.”

The first residents of Cloverton will have immediate access to a range of services in Melbourne’s northern corridor. Cloverton is located within walking distance of Donnybrook Train Station, offering residents an easy, 35-kilometre commute to the Melbourne CBD via the Hume Freeway and Metropolitan Ring Road.

Cloverton is also conveniently close to all of the facilities at Stockland’s existing Highlands community at Craigieburn, which was named by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) as Australia’s best masterplanned community in 2013.

Mike Davis said residents could expect Cloverton to be another high-quality Stockland community. “People who are familiar with our other communities in Melbourne’s north, such as Highlands, Mernda Villages at Mernda, and Eucalypt at Wollert, can expect the same high standards of design and the creation of a thriving community through the early delivery of parks and schools.”

“At Cloverton we’ll offer a wide variety of land sizes and house styles from townhouses to 3, 4 and 5 bedroom family homes,” added Mr Davis. “This variety of homes at different price points will ensure we appeal to every type of buyer from first home buyers and upgraders to downsizers and investors.”

A new Sales and Information Centre is now open at Cloverton, on the corner of Donnybrook Road and Dwyer Street in Kalkallo. It is open from Saturday to Wednesday, from 10am to 5pm.
