Stockland The Pines will unveil its new Kmart store later this month, offering another exciting retailer addition to the array of food, fashion and entertainment retailers already on offer at the shopping centre.

The new Kmart store has confirmed to open its doors at 8am on Thursday 24th November, with customers invited to enjoy a host of entertainment and giveaways on the day.

Stockland The Pines, Centre Manager, Caroline Brown, said: “We're very excited to welcome Kmart to Stockland The Pines in time for Christmas shopping. This new store will complement the current retail offer at The Pines and provide shoppers with a great range of products across home, entertainment, clothing and toys at everyday low prices."

The new Kmart at Stockland The Pines will offer customers a new layout and design, providing an inspiring and engaging shopping experience. The store will offer three distinct in-store offerings; ‘kids’, ‘clothing’ and ‘home’ - each with their own innovative layouts and bold colour palette.

Customers will also enjoy a number of other conveniences including central self-serve checkouts, wide aisles to allow for easier access with prams and mobility equipment, layby and photo processing facilities (to print from smartphones, USBs and digital cameras).

Kmart The Pines Store Manager, Michael Crossley, said: “We are very excited to open Kmart at The Pines, offering locals a new and convenient shopping experience with everyday low prices. The Kmart The Pines team have an intimate knowledge of the products and layout, having worked at the store in the lead up to the opening to assist with the store set-up. “The team is well equipped to provide amazing service to our new customers and are all really looking forward to the opening. The dedication and team work they’ve displayed is a real testament to the culture here at Kmart.”

The Kmart opening will feature a host of family fun and giveaways. There will be gift bags for the first 200 people who make a purchase and free cupcakes to the first 250 customers. Across the day there will also be face painting, balloon twisting, Batman and Elsa roving entertainers, a photo booth and free popcorn and fairy floss.

Stockland The Pines recently opened a host of new retailers to the centre including Boost Juice, Suzanne Grae, a new Priceline Pharmacy, Millers Woman and Gino Ventori Shoes.

Aldi also opened its extension last month taking on approximately 110 square metres of additional new floor space. Aldi customers can now enjoy an enhanced shopping experience with better product displays, improved navigation and modern styling. New features include redesigned shelving, expanded wooden produce bays with a greater breadth of fresh produce as well as extended energy efficient chillers.

Caroline Brown continues, “We’re proud to be bringing new fashions, tastes and entertainment retailers to The Pines to offer our customers an even better retail experience. The calibre of new brands that have recently opened their doors, or will soon begin trading, is exceptional and will be a great addition to our current stable of retailers at the centre.”
