Stockland Townsville to welcome suite of new retailers

Stockland Townsville is pleased to welcome a number of exciting new retailers to the centre, including several national brands and one brand making its grand debut to the area.

The new stores will include Cotton On, PIVOT, Factorie, City Chic, Shaver Shop and Oscar Wylee. The first five retailers will be backfilling the former H&M space, with Oscar Wylee located in the Fashion Mall between Tarocash and Michael Hill.

PIVOT is a new concept store that brings together the best international sports and lifestyle brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, Vans and Skechers at value prices. Launching in June 2020, PIVOT has opened five stores to-date – with a further 20 stores to open this year – and future plans for more than 100 stores across Australia and New Zealand.

Martin Hourigan, General Manager PIVOT, The Trybe & Commercial, said: “I’m excited to bring PIVOT to Townsville – our third Queensland store.

“We will open in time for summer with a tailored range for the Townsville community in addition to our core range of international brands.”

Andrew Stallan, Centre Manager at Stockland Townsville, said that the team has worked hard to ensure strength and diversity in the new retailers coming in.

“Our team has listened to what the community wants to see at our centre and responded by securing a really great mix of national brands and up-and-comers that will we know customers will love.

“We’re proud to be Townsville’s largest shopping centre and to be such an attractive place for retailers of all kinds to open and operate in the area. These new retailers are a testament to our strong performance as a centre, and how supportive the community is of its local businesses.

The new stores are anticipated to commence trade before Christmas 2021.
