Stockland has unveiled a new public art mural at its Wendouree shopping centre, working with local artist Margie Balazic to deliver a vibrant artwork that celebrates the local community of Ballarat.
The artwork, titled Wonderous Path, is an ode to adventure featuring a contemporary landscape filled with colourful animal and plant life, encouraging people to explore their imagination and follow a new path to discovery.
Stockland Wendouree Centre Manager, Stevie Wright said: “It is a privilege to have renowned local artist, Margie Balazic, create a beautiful and meaningful mural for the community.
“Our centre is more than just a place to shop – it is a place where people come to socialise with friends and family. The installation of this artwork reflects our approach to placemaking and desire to bring people together in a vibrant and interesting centre.
“The mural pays tribute to the community spirit, and we hope it will bring joy and inspiration to those who visit Stockland Wendouree,” said Ms Wright.
