Vale’s new Aviary Creek park a big hit with Perth families

21 August 2018

Stockland’s brand new $3 million Aviary Creek Park at Vale in Aveley is fast becoming one of Perth’s most popular family destinations with both children and adults taking advantage of the state-of-the-art play equipment and beautiful parkland setting.

The 6.7 hectare park, which has been created around a natural creek, includes a giant water wheel playground, yoga platform, bocce court and boardwalks which are designed to provide active play areas for children and zen zones for adults.

Col Dutton, WA General Manager Residential at Stockland, said the unique features of Aviary Creek Park were designed to support the health and wellbeing of residents of all ages.

“We’re delighted that our Aviary Creek Park is already proving to be a firm favourite for Vale residents and for families from all over Perth,” Mr Dutton said.

“The park offers something for everyone – whether you want a relaxing and scenic place to practice yoga or go for a jog, a fun-filled space for the kids to play or to take a stroll along the water’s edge.

“Catering for all generations, our new park is specifically designed to support healthy lifestyles in keeping with the beautiful natural surrounds and our area’s history.”

Aviary Creek Park aims to bring the whole family together with creative play spaces, fitness and workout zones and passive areas.

A nearby historic water mill was the inspiration for the giant, stationary water wheel playground, with two slides for different ability levels, while an extensive series of tracks with distance markers and a series of boardwalks provide trails for runners and walkers.

There are also seating and barbecue facilities plus plenty of open space for picnics and ball games.

Aviary Creek Park is located on Egerton Drive, Aveley in Stockland’s Vale community.

Vale is an award-winning masterplanned community just 23 kilometres from Perth’s CBD that has set benchmarks for connected, sustainable living since its launch in 2004.

More than 20 per cent of the 543 hectare Vale community is dedicated to parkland and open space. A vibrant town centre, primary and secondary schools, sporting facilities and healthcare are all well established within Vale.

House and land packages start from $298,590 while newly built, completed homes that are ready to move into are priced from $449,000.
