From crafts to laughter: KidsFest 2025 lights up Calderwood Valley

Calderwood Valley recently hosted the first event to kick off the week-long KidsFest Shellharbour 2025 festival, welcoming families from across the community for a morning of hands-on learning and fun.

Held at Calderwood Valley's District Park, the event was a vibrant celebration of country, children and creativity. With a range of free activities including nature play, craft stations, music making, boomerang throwing and weaving, and a traditional smoking ceremony, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Calderwood Valley is proud to be part of KidsFest, the longest-running free children’s festival in NSW, and we remain committed to supporting opportunities for children and families to thrive.
