We're celebrating Sustainable House Day at Willowdale on Sunday 16 September and your family is invited to join the FREE fun!
Between 10am and 4pm visit Willowdale Community Place, 93 Jamboree Avenue, Leppington for tours showcasing the energy-saving and ecologically sustainable features of one of the most sustainable project homes ever built in Australia!
You can also expect FREE, family-friendly entertainment and activities throughout the day at including:
10am-4pm: Garden Games with ten-pin bowling, croquet, soccer and a hide and seek worm game
11.30am-2pm: Community Barbecue
2.30pm-3.30pm: workshop with Bunnings Warehouse Australia on how your family can create your own vegetable garden and worm farm
Willowdale Community Place is a display home that demonstrates how families building their new home can save thousands of dollars every year with energy saving inclusions that maximise the warmth of the sun through winter and minimise the impact of the sun’s heat through summer. It allows customers to choose the energy saving features they would like to include in the construction of their home so they can start saving money on bills as soon as they move in.
