GAME. SET. MATCH! Get ready for some new sporting options in Baringa at Aura, as we proudly announce the commencement of construction on the much-anticipated Baringa Sports Complex which is estimated to cost around $8 millon.
Conveniently located on Farmers Crescent right by the bustling Aura Business Park and next to the recently opened Bells Creek Arterial Road.
Joining Nirimba Sports Complex, Baringa Football Grounds and Nirimba Rugby Grounds currently under construction, this will be the fourth sporting facility delivered within Aura – and the largest to date! While the current Nirimba and Baringa complexes cater to netball, cricket, rugby, and soccer, the new Baringa Sports Complex will be a big hit with locals, by providing a dedicated space for AFL and tennis.
The complex will include two full sized AFL fields and eight full sized tennis courts. An additional four hotshot courts will also be built, providing grassroots opportunities for tennis players at every age and level!
From a dedicated cycling veloway through to parks and playgrounds delivered within 400m of every home at Aura, the Baringa Sports Complex will offer new sporting opportunities for locals; playing a vital role in Aura’s commitment to create a community which champions an active, outdoor lifestyle.
Construction is now underway, with Baringa Sports Complex forecast to open late 2024*.
