To celebrate Stockland Aura’s 7th Birthday, we caught up with Aura local, Louise Cross who not only works for Stockland Aura but chose Aura as her home too!

1. What do you love most about living in the Aura community?
I love living in the community that I work in, and I have a real sense of pride in watching the community grow.

2. What’s your favourite Aura business to visit and why?
I love supporting local home businesses and I visit Sarah at Lush Lashes & Aesthetics for my eyebrow waxing, and I also get my hair cut by local home businesses Tease by Aimee Jade and Clair at Nirimba Hair.

3. What did you love about building a brand new home in Aura?
We bought a Stockland Completed Home that was built by Integrale. We chose a completed home for the convenience. The land was registered, and construction of the home was soon to start so we were able to sign our contract and move in to our first home 6 months later.

4. What would you recommend to a friend looking to spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon in Aura?
For friends with kids, I’d recommend one of the many amazing parks Aura has to offer (Island Park is my favourite) and for my friends without kids, I’d recommend a few cheeky bevvies at Brouhaha Brewery – they bring in a great food truck operator to accompany the beers and it’s always nice to try something new.

6. If you could ask anyone 7 questions, who would it be?
Definitely my Mum. She’s unfortunately not with us anymore and there’s always more questions a daughter could ask her Mum!

7. What words of advice would you give your 7-year-old self?
Never say no to an opportunity. One moment, introduction, lesson or decision can completely change the course of your life.
