Botanica to bring over 2,000 homes to Ipswich
Introducing Botanica, our newest 252-hectare masterplanned community in Queensland’s Ipswich region, set to welcome an estimated 6,000 residents in one of the country’s largest and fastest growing urban corridors.
Following a successful launch, the first release of 18 lots sold out in just one weekend, reflecting strong interest in this new community. With excitement building, the next release is set for 16 November, giving prospective buyers another chance to call this sought-after location home.
Named for its botanical and natural surroundings, Botanica offers a range of housing options, including detached homes, terrace homes, townhomes, an over 55s land lease community, and social housing.
Botanica will include over 2,000 lots and feature nearly 70 hectares of rehabilitated green space, a landscaped nature reserve running through the heart of the community, two local parks, a large district park and 10 hectares of regional sports fields. An additional 106 hectares outside the Botanica site will also be rehabilitated and preserved as green space, enhancing the area’s natural beauty.
Stockland’s General Manager for Queensland Development, David Laner said that Botanica and the nearby Stockland community, Providence, will play a key role in addressing housing demand and providing local employment opportunities through and beyond construction.
“The launch of Botanica is a significant step toward meeting the growing demand for housing in South East Queensland. The community will provide different housing options to suit a wide range of buyers, from first homebuyers and families to downsizers and upgraders,” Mr Laner said.
“Each home will be within 600 metres of a park or green space, so residents are always connected to nature and have access to outdoor activities and community spaces. There are also plans for a proposed school, a childcare centre, a neighbourhood retail centre, a community sporting club and community centre."
The launch of Botanica comes as Providence, Stockland’s nearby masterplanned community, reaches significant sell-out milestones, with all recent precinct releases sold out. Providence is already home to 4,800 residents and is projected to grow to 20,000 over the next 20 years.
Botanica is conveniently located eight kilometres from Ipswich’s CBD and 46 kilometres from Brisbane’s CBD, with excellent connectivity via major highways, including the Ipswich Motorway and Cunningham Highway, as well as convenient public transport options for commuters to Brisbane and surrounding regions.
A sales office is currently operating from Stockland Providence, with site tours on Saturday mornings. For more information, stop by the Stockland Providence Sales and Community Hub at 6 Amity Way, South Ripley, or visit the website to connect with the Stockland sales team.
