The “Meet your Neighbour” Event on Saturday the 22nd of July was the perfect opportunity for our residents to start conversations with their neighbours old and new.

Stockland has recently played host to an unforgettable event that brought together Providences’ newest True North residents, sparking excitement and camaraderie among soon-to-be neighbours. 

The ‘Meet Your Neighbour’ event was held on Saturday, 22nd July, and was a testament to the community's commitment to fostering a strong sense of belonging and connection among the residents. Stockland Project Director, David Franklin, emphasises on the importance of this event,  

“Connecting people to the place they call home is an important aspect across all our communities. It was great to see everyone get to know each other over some delicious food at the Meet Your Neighbour event and we look forward to seeing our residents settle into True North at Stockland Providence." 

The event included an Italian-inspired lunch with wood fired pizzas, delicious treats while enjoying live entertainment and name cards which facilitated conversations among new neighbours. Amidst the festivities, the terrarium workshop and donut decoration station kept the little residents very busy! 

Providence's impressive growth is evident with almost 5,000 current residents and an anticipated influx of around 20,000 more in the next two decades. The integration of essential amenities like schools, a village centre, a satellite hospital, extensive parkland and sporting facilities will significantly elevate the overall living experience for all community members.
