This brand-new facility features a minor illness and injury clinic, as well as treatment spaces for paediatric care, obstetrics and gynaecology, oral health, BreastScreen and mental health services.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk believes the satellite hospital is a significant asset for locals in the region.

“The Ripley Satellite Hospital will be a gamechanger for the growing Ipswich region by providing the health services families in this area need,” Premier Palaszczuk commented.

“It will also be a significant employment hub for frontline workers including doctors, nurses and allied health officers,” she added.

The hospital operates from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week, and is located at 150 Botany Drive, South Ripley.

Work is currently underway on the Stage 2 extension of the hospital which will include a 90-bed Ripley sub-acute facility which will be located right next door.

The addition of a satellite hospital in Ripley is an integral facility for Stockland Providence, as the community has been master-planned to provide exceptional, expanding facilities to meet the needs of its residents.

Home to more than 5,000 people, Providence will expect to grow to approximately 20,000 over the next 20 years, with Ripley Valley earmarked as a Priority Development Area by the Queensland Government.

Whilst continually growing, Providence is already celebrated as a thriving, connected community, with education opportunities, local clubs and cafes, plus an abundance of outdoor parks and playgrounds.
