Be it natural reserves, expansive green spaces or state-of-the-art playgrounds, there are so many parks on offer to enjoy! Here are our top pick of the parks in Ripley Valley.  

1. Spring Mountain Conservation Estate

For the adventurer, Spring Mountain Conservation Estate offers a plethora of outdoor fun. Featuring the distinctive, sculptured, nearby rocky outcrops of White Rock and Spring Mountain, this estate covers over 2,500 hectares of regionally significant bushland. Hiking, horse-riding and bushwalking are among some of the outdoor activities available, or families can soak in the leafy landscape at Paperbark Flats Picnic Area which is well equipped park facilities and toilets.

2. Lobley Park

Calling all aviation fans! Aeronautical themed Lobley Park is a unique, popular park only 10 minutes’ drive from Providence. Children’s imaginations will run wild in this award-winning park which boasts a replica RAAF cargo plane and control tower (complete with x-ray machine and radar screen) as well as parachute swings and a natural amphitheatre. Equipped with electric barbeques and shelters, the park’s multiple play areas are connected by sky blue pathways and blooming flower gardens.
