Spring Incentives New South Wales Terms and Conditions


$25,000 Australian HomeBuilder Scheme

On 4 June 2020 the Australian Government announced the HomeBuilder Scheme to provide eligible owner-occupiers (including first home buyers) with a grant of $25,000* to build a new home, substantially renovate an existing home or buy an off the plan home/new home. The eligible contract must be signed between 4 June 2020 and 31 December 2020 (inclusive).

Construction need not commence prior to 31 December 2020, however, must commence within three months of the contract date. Further, construction cannot have commenced before 4 June 2020. Find out more here - https://www.revenue.nsw.gov.au/grants-schemes/homebuilder

$10,000 NSW First Home Owners Grant

In addition to the Federal Government HomeBuilder scheme, if you are a first home owner in New South Wales, you could be eligible for an additional $10,000* grant. For more details, visit https://www.revenue.nsw.gov.au/grants-schemes/first-home-buyer

First Home Buyers Assistance Scheme

The NSW Government has also announced that from 1 August, 2020, First Home Buyers who purchase a new home up to the value of $800,000 may be entitled to an exemption from transfer (stamp) duty. This is an increase from the previous threshold of $650,000. First Home Buyers who purchase a new home with a value of $800,000 to $1,000,000 may be eligible to a partial exemption from transfer (stamp) duty. The new transfer (stamp) duty threshold will be in place for 12 months and will apply to contracts executed from 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2021 *. Spring Incentives Victoria Terms and Conditions

$25,000* Federal Homebuilder scheme

On 4 June 2020 the Australian Government announced the HomeBuilder Scheme to provide eligible owner-occupiers (including first home buyers) with a grant of $25,000* to build a new home, substantially renovate an existing home or buy an off the plan home/new home. The Victorian Government recently announced an extension to the construction criteria meaning eligible owner-occupiers now have 6 months from the signing of the contract to commence construction. Find out more about the extension at https://www.sro.vic.gov.au/homebuilder-grant-guidelines.


$10,000* First Home Buyer Grant

In addition to the Federal Government HomeBuilder scheme, if you are a first home owner in Victoria, you could be eligible for an additional $10,000* grant. For more details visit https://www.sro.vic.gov.au/first-home-owner.

Up to $20,000* in Stockland Spring Savings
To help progress your home buying journey, Stockland are offering up to $20,000 in rebates on selected land or townhomes at participating Stockland communities across Victoria.

Spring Incentives Queensland Terms and Conditions

 $25,000* Federal HomeBuilder Scheme

$15,000* Queensland First Home Owners' Grant

In addition to the Federal Government HomeBuilder scheme, if you are a first home owner in Queensland, you could be eligible for an additional $15,000* grant, as well as a saving of up to $7,175* with the first home vacant land concession for transfer duty. $5,000* Regional Home Building Boost – North Shore only

The regional home building boost grant is a state government initiative to help home owners in regional Queensland into their new home sooner.  Customers purchasing land in our North Shore community may also be eligible for the additional $5,000* regional home building boost. Purchasers may not be eligible to receive the total $55k in Government Grants – Amount calculated as $25,000 HomeBuilder + $20,000 WA New Home Construction Grant + $10,000 WA First Home Owner Duty Grant = $55K Total Possible Government Grants.
