On Saturday we welcomed a large group of the Banksia community to come along and marvel at some of the big machinery helping build and protect Banksia!

That’s a wrap for our Little Diggers event at Banksia! 

On Saturday we welcomed a large group of the Banksia community to come along and marvel at some of the big machinery helping build and protect Banksia!

All of our 'Little Diggers' who came along were given mini hi-vis vests, mini hard hats and little packed lunches in Stockland cooler bags while parents could take advantage of free coffees from the coffee cart.

A big thanks to our civil construction team at Winslow for providing the heavy machinery, as well as the Grovedale CFA for supplying the fire truck.

Stockland Development Director Jackie Kent said "The 'Little Diggers' event at Stockland Banksia was a great way for families to see the big machinery and equipment that’s helping to construct the place they will soon call home. We were delighted to welcome people from around Geelong and the neighbouring Surf Coast communities.”
