Festival fun for all Edgebrook and Evergreen residents!
Last weekend the Festival of Edgebrook took place on Saturday 21st of January.
The sun was shining with over 400 residents coming down to the park to join in the free festivities. This fun day was filled with great food, community spirit and a variety of activities.
Residents from both Edgebrook and Evergreen communities enjoyed four food trucks, hula hoop workshops, stilt walkers, face painting, giant lawn games and live music. We loved seeing all the residents joining in all the fun and getting to know their neighbours.
We had a special guest Alvin, from the Bunurong Land Council, who gave a Welcome to Country. He helped educate residents about the history of the land they were on in an interesting and easy-to-understand way.
Overall, it was a perfect day out at Edgebrook.
