Mt. Atkinson has partnered with the Caroline Springs RSL and Edmund Rice Services to create a community bus service to and from the Rockbank Train Station.

There are currently 100 residents that use the bus weekly, taking one of three morning or three afternoon trips to and from Rockbank Station.

Our team recently took a trip on the community bus, and it was great to hear how this service has made lives easier, has taken cars off the road, has fostered new friendships, and most importantly, how the bus is helping our residents staying in-touch with loved ones.

Stockland is currently working with all involved to increase the scale of operations in 2023. This wouldn’t be possible without the work done by the Caroline Springs RSL and Edmund Rice Services – Mt. Atkinson.

We encourage everyone to visit the Mt Atkinson Community Centre by Edmund Rice Services whenever possible, and to wave ‘hello’ to our charismatic bus driver Theo, as he drives around the streets.
