Construction is underway at the future St Marianne Cope Catholic Parish Primary

We’re excited that the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) have commenced construction on the future St Marianne Cope Catholic Parish Primary at Mt. Atkinson! 

It is anticipated that the new primary school will open in Term 1, 2026 with the first stage of the school featuring two buildings.  

The first building will include the 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergartens, as well as the before- and after-school care area. The administration area and offices will also form part of this building.  

The second building will house 13 general learning areas, as well as a dedicated area for specialist subjects. The exterior of the school will feature two car parks, a bike shed, two basketball courts, a soccer field, a playground, and a sandpit.  

Future stages will include additional classrooms, specialist spaces, an indoor gymnasium and hall, and a performing arts centre. These learning spaces will provide a safe and supportive learning environment where your child will be empowered and nurtured to reach their full potential.

School Principal appointed for the future St Marianne Cope Catholic Parish Primary School 

Mrs. Jacqueline Byrne has been appointed as the school’s founding principal who is “honoured to lead this exciting new chapter”. She aims to build a “school community dedicated to learning and personal growth”.
