Mt. Atkinson's Grizzly Bear Park was officially opened with a COVID-Safe residents event in April 2021.

After a long 2020 we were excited to hold our first COVID-Safe community event at Mt Atkinson. A Teddy Bear Picnic was held to celebrate the opening of Grizzly Bear Park in mid-2020.

Residents braved the wind and rain and enjoyed the free entertainment offer, which included a petting zoo, a bear hunt, and a visit from Cheer Bear, who is the most cheerful of all the Care Bears.
