Primary School

 

Lake Monger Primary School

Located on the shores of Lake Monger, this independent public primary school offers enrolment from Kindy to Year 6. The school is located on a leafy site with extensive play and sports areas in addition to being adjacent to the parklands around Lake Monger.

 

Bold Park Primary

Bold Park Community School is an innovative school with campuses in Wembley catering for 18 months to Year 9 children, with another campus in Maylands catering for Year 10-12 students. Bold Park places a strong emphasis in promoting mutual respect, shared learning, creativity, imagination, problem solving and participation in the life of the community. A unique feature is the classroom structure and student to adult ratio. Small groups of students are taught by teams of teachers and teaching interns with the support of literacy specialists.

 

Mount Hawthorn Primary School 

Located in the neighbouring suburb of Mt Hawthorn, this independent public primary school offers enrolment from Kindy to Year 6 with a shared Education Support Centre. The kindergarten is located offsite in Leederville and Pre-primary to Year 6 is located on their main campus on Killarney Street.

 

Secondary School 

 

Bob Hawke College 

Bob Hawke College is set to be Western Australia’s first high-density public secondary school. Located just a short drive from Canopy in Subiaco – within the catchment area. In February of 2020, 250 year 7 students were welcomed to the newly completed school for the first time. The $57.6 million dollar stage 2 is set to start mid 2021 with facilities opening to students by 2023, and catering for students from Years 7 to 12 by 2025. Stage 2 will offer students rehearsal spaces, a performing arts centre, dance and visual arts studios, music rooms and two state-of-the-art media studios.

 

  

Perth Modern School 

Perth Modern School is centrally located in Subiaco, the school provides students from Years 7 to 12 a differentiated and compacted curriculum that develops their skills. Boasting a strong academic, music, sporting , cultural, leadership and community service programs encouraging students to achieve outstanding results. Recently Perth Modern School has undertaken significant upgrades to their facilities; including a 700-seat multipurpose auditorium, set to open mid-2021.
