The next big park for the Whiteman Edge community will showcase an interesting and exciting Jungle themed park with a construction value of $2 million dollars.
The play space focuses on the contours of the land to create a natural play haven with varying species of retained mature trees to create a dense Jungle atmosphere.

An elevated section at the north end of the park will be retained using large boulders and elaborate rock pitching to create a feature wall with views toward the south of the community.

The play equipment has been designed to incorporate a more challenging play environment for kids, and key features include:

  • Extensive decking to provide a journey above, across and down the elevated section of the park.
  • 7m enclosed climbing tower with a large tunnel slide, inspired by a birds nest amongst the tree canopies.
  • Lots of rope and climbing structures for varying abilities.
  • A dedicated toddler area which will have a small slide and cubby.
  • Shade protected area with ample seating.
  • Barbeque facilities and picnic tables which will also be well lit for evening entertaining.
  • Winding pathway including feature bridges and decking which again will have feature lighting to highlight some of the beautiful retained trees.

This park will provide a feature statement to those travelling into the community through Everglades Avenue and will express the true character that is Whiteman Edge.
