Stockland recognises and supports local community groups through its annual Community Grants program.

Our 2016 Community Grant winners have been announced, with over $300,000 being distributed to around 280 organisations across Australia.

Stockland’s Community Grants program provides local groups and organisations with grant funding to help support community facilities, community-based programs and local opportunities. Local community organisations are encouraged to apply for funding for an individual grant of up to $1,000 from a Stockland retail centre, residential community or retirement living village in their local area.

Grants are assessed against a range of criteria and must demonstrate their contribution to one of Stockland’s community focus areas of health and wellbeing, education and community connection.

Our 2016 winners represent a diverse group of community organisations including community preschools, men’s sheds, sporting clubs, respite for carers, youth wellbeing programs, suicide prevention groups, toy libraries, choirs, over 55 recreation and computing clubs, disability groups and children’s reading groups.

“Stockland has a long-standing commitment to working with the community and is proud to be supporting local organisations across the country whose great work, dedication and commitment are an essential part of making any community thrive,” Michael Rosmarin, Chief Operating Officer at Stockland, said.
