MPark Community Art

06 February 2023
Stockland is seeking to commission a significant public artwork for their new development MPark.

This is an opportunity for a place-based integrated artwork that responds to the cultural learnings gained through the Designing with Country process and communicates how Dharug connect to and understand Nura (Country).

The proposed site is located on the lands of the Wallumattagal People now known as Macquarie Park, in the heart of Dharug Nura.

This commission will be led by Country and work with Aboriginal artists, creatives or collaborators and can be an interdisciplinary team. This artwork will act as a beacon and gateway to the MPark Stage 2 precinct and will frame the entranceway to the public Gathering Place beyond.

This is also a great opportunity to collaborate with top designers selected for this significant stage of the MPark Precinct including Aspect Landscape Architects and 3XN Architects.

How do I apply ?

Applications are now open and can be submitted to place.making@stockland.com.au by COB Monday the 6th March 2023.

Only CV and a response to Brief is required at this stage.
