On the long weekend in January, Elara hosted a free outdoor movie night screen Disney's Zootopia.

Over 750 people attended with their picnic rugs, camp chairs and snacks despite the warmer weather earlier in the day.

The weather cooled down and the visitors got to enjoy snow cones, fairy floss, popcorn and a BBQ by the Lion's Club.

But that wasn't all, there was loads of entertainment for the kids too, including face painters, balloon benders and a huge animal themed jumping castle from 7pm.

Kids even got to dress on theme with free animal masks that were handed out.

This was once again another event which is part of our community development strategy and will be one of many more to come.
