When Justin and Vanessa Hill purchased a block to build their dream house, little did they know they had just set a milestone for Townsville’s fastest growing suburb.
The couple bought a lot at North Shore’s Horizon village overlooking a new park to build their forever home. What they didn’t know when it was time to sign the contract was they were the 2000th buyer for North Shore.
“We were so surprised and delighted to find out we were the 2000th buyers at North Shore,” they said.
“We are first homebuyers so it was fantastic to know that not only had we reached one milestone in buying our first home, but another by being the 2000th buyers."
“We have been renting in the area so we know it well and always knew this is where we wanted to live."
“There are beautiful trees, families walking their dogs and there is just a great feeling about the community."
“We have a new park right across the road from us so that really adds to the block – we never want to leave this area.”
“We’re building a four-bed, two-bath house with outdoor area and a few personal touches applied,” they said.
“It’s a simple and comfortable design and has everything we want. When we started looking at homes to buy, we could never find one that was perfect so that’s when we decided to build our own."
“We can’t wait to move into our new home and be part of North Shore’s continued growth."
