Liveability at Highlands

How Highlands creates Liveability

At Highlands, we know it takes a lot more than bricks and mortar to create a thriving community. Our annual Liveability Survey measures what matters to our residents, so we can design our communities around what’s important.

The Liveability Survey invites feedback on all aspects of the community - from quality of built and natural environments, to how its design supports mental and physical wellbeing. Watch more about it below.

Here are the things you’re loving at Highlands

Connection – 88%*
How close our residents are to the everyday essentials – and a better life.
Environment – 84%*

Health & Fitness – 89%*
Soak in the natural beauty of your community while maintaining an active & healthy lifestyle.

Here’s what we’re doing to improve ^

Community Presentation

Continue working with council to ensure parks are maintained and tidy to ensure areas are safe and well presented.

Helping to make living at Highlands more affordable

Working with Jamie's Ministry of Food to offer residents affordable ways of shopping and feeding the family.

Awareness of community events

Provide greater awareness of community events to help connect the local community (with small events in line with covid-19 regulations to restart when it's safe).
