Town Team Movement (or TTM) is all about working with local communities across Australia and New Zealand to make their places even better. And here at Sienna Wood, we've invited TTM to help our passionate locals get the boost they need to turn their community-building ideas into reality.

Local 'town teams' can help bring all sorts of neighbourhood projects to life - think events, all the way to natural initiatives and art installations. And, with so much that can be done, why not take a look at what other communities are getting up to? Check out the Book of Doing for a dose of inspiration (or to borrow some ideas - we won't tell!).

Back in June, TTM held a pop-up event at Shipwreck Park to gather local project ideas and create community connections. They also held a trial 'Buy Nothing' market and community garden replanting to add some extra fun to the day. The outcome? Finding out Sienna Wood residents' top priorities: community gardens and social food-related events.

As we sprout our community gardens ( with the helping hand from some interested locals), TTM would love to get together and brainstorm what community events you'd like to see trialled in the near future - and which of these events would give that special Sienna Wood flair.

You're invited to join TTM, along with Emma Rosanes from local favourite Mama's Kitchen food van, for an evening of brainstorming (and great food) at Shipwreck Park. The event takes place on Thursday 26th October, 5:30pm-7:00pm. To help with catering numbers, please register ahead here
