Have a vegan in the family? We’ve got a vegan cookie mix ornament recipe as well — all you need to do is swap out a few ingredients! Ready to surprise your nearest and dearest with a sweet Christmas treat? Keep reading to find out how to create these colourful, mouth-watering ornaments!

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Fillable Christmas tree ornaments (we love these options from Kmart)

• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

• 1/3 cup sugar

• ½ teaspoon baking powder

• 1/3 cup mini M&Ms

Vegan option

• Fillable Christmas tree ornaments (we love these options from Kmart)

• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour

• 1/3 cup sugar

• ½ teaspoon baking powder

• 1/3 cup vegan sprinkles (purchase from Coles or Woolworths)

Step 1

Pour the flour into the ornament, then follow with the baking powder and sugar.

Step 2

Delicately pour the M&Ms (or sprinkles) into the ornament, leaving a small space at the top. Close your ornament and you’re done! You’ll now have a gorgeous homemade ornament with clear layers of different coloured cookie mix ingredients, topped with colourful M&Ms (or sprinkles!).

Now you have gorgeous cookie mix Christmas tree ornaments to give to your friends and family this festive season!
