Stockland are proud to announce Brightwater as the winner of UDIA's 2016 Best Masterplanned Development Queensland.

Stockland's Brightwater community at Mountain Creek, Sunshine Coast has been awarded Best Masterplanned Development in Queensland 2016 by the Urban Development Institute of Australia.

Stockland's Vale community in WA and Selandra Rise community in VIC have also won their state awards and will compete with Brightwater for the National title. 

The success of Brightwater has been attributed to an amazing team effort by Stockland's Sunshine Coast Development Manager, Matt Byrne. 

"Brightwater is a wonderful legacy to leave the Sunshine Coast Community. I am incredibly proud to have been part of the team who have delivered the project. We are now a National (UDIA) Finalist…watch this space!” 

This year, 2016 brought significant changes to Brightwater including sales of premium waterfront lots with direct ocean access and views. The Mainwaring collection, designer town homes were also brought to market. 

Brightwater now has its own boat ramp, new parks and half basketball courts, in addition to adventure playgrounds, regional sports field, exercise equipment and dog park.
