Things may get a bit messy, but what kid doesn’t love to make a bit of mess? Plus, it’s all in the name of artistic expression and family fun! So, follow the steps below and watch your as your kids’ new DIY craft board game comes to life.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 10 x smooth stones (get them from your own garden or Kmart)
- Craft paint
- Paint brushes
- Googly eyes
- PVA glue
- A black marker or Sharpie
- A wooden board
Step 1
Select two paint colours for your pet rock game pieces. Paint five rocks one colour and the other five rocks the second colour.
Step 2
Paint a second and third coat onto your rocks.
Step 3
Stick googly eyes onto the rocks and use the black marker to draw a mouth onto each rock.
Step 4
Use the black marker to draw the Tic-Tac-Toe game onto the wooden board, and you’re ready to play!
