Richmond Agricultural College is excited to provide the opportunity for students to apply for the 2021 Year 7 Agricultural Specialty Stream.
This is a first of its kind in NSW and will see students apply through portfolio and interview to attend the College.
The students will study a unique curriculum developed to support their passions/interests in AgSTEM, and will be based three days a week on the Western Sydney University Campus (Hawkesbury) at the Centre of Excellence in Agricultural Education and two days a week on the Richmond HS Campus.
Student's will study courses in Design Thinking, Applied Learning (AgSTEM) and Agriculture, along with their core curriculum. They will learn in a trans-disciplinary model that sees learning opportunities partnered with our tertiary academic partners and industry. Students will also engage in a tailored AgSTEM transition/careers program from Yr 7- Yr 12 including opportunities for mentoring by academic and industry experts.
The 2021 intake will include a Yr 7 class of 30. There are NO local drawing areas for these positions. Applications close 3pm Wednesday 16th September.
