After purchasing a terrace home at Stockland Elara off the plan in 2019, Daniel Cheung and his wife Jennifer Cheung were delighted to move into their brand new home in August 2020. It was worth the wait.

The pair are incredibly pleased with their first home, the building process, their new Elara community and are looking forward to making their new house a home with Stockland.

Recap of what you have purchased at Stockland and when?
We purchased a terrace off plan over a year ago and were excited to move in four weeks ago (August 2020).
Why did you choose to purchase in Stockland?
My wife and I looked into many options, however Stockland seemed to be a really good opportunity for us as it fit within our price range. Buying off the plan meant we were able to save a bit more before we settled, too.
As a first home buyer what were you looking for in a house and a neighbourhood?
Firstly, I really enjoyed the community set up. We built our home opposite a great local park. Secondly, the well-designed floor plan of the terrace home appealed to us. My wife, Jennifer, is a piano teacher who teaches from home, our new home has a side access to her teaching space and there is a powder bathroom too which is perfect for students. It was great to be able to influence many of the design elements of our home to suit us.

How did you find the process of buying at Stockland?
We were really happy with Stockland’s customer service - the sales team were awesome. We received updates every 6-8 weeks during the construction process but if we had any questions in between, the team were always happy to talk anytime about progress updates. In terms of the end product, we couldn’t be happier. Stockland delivered on everything we wanted.
What were the benefits of buying off the plan at Stockland? Would you recommend others to buy at Stockland?
Buying and building with Stockland was a great option for us. We are grateful for where we are and are very happy with our build and new community.
