Interest in houses within the catchment for the new North Shore State Primary School, the first new State school to be built in Townsville in 15 years, has helped trigger the release of new land at North Shore.

Ranging from 455m2 to 665m2, the La Glorie Land Release is located adjacent to the new State School opening in 2018.  Also opening close by will be a shopping village to be named The Junction, and regional Super Park.

North Shore Project Director Andrew Astorquia said there had been an increase in enquiry for land close to the school since construction of the $40 million facility began in early 2017.

“It is mostly young families that choose to live at North Shore and the school has been eagerly anticipated by everyone living in this area,” Mr Astorquia said.

“The La Glorie Land Release will have the best North Shore has to offer, with shops, schools and even a super park all within walking distance.”

“And with our new $10,000 boost to the boost campaign now underway, it is even better with four bedroom house and land packages on 35 metre deep lots for under $380,000.”

“First home buyers are also eligible for an additional $20,000 with the Queensland Government First Home Owners’ Grant, so we expect this release to be highly sought after.”

Land in the La Glorie starts from $149,500 with the Stockland Boost to the Boost campaign providing buyers with the opportunity to get up to $30,000* off selected home and land packages.
