Stockland Pallara offers new house and land packages well below the Brisbane average house price

Brand new home and land packages at Stockland’s new Pallara residential community area are proving considerably more affordable than the average established house according to latest figures from the Real Estate Institute of QLD (REIQ).

The REIQ revealed Brisbane’s median house price rose 1.6 per cent in the three months to December 2016 taking the median house price to $655,000

However, Stockland’s Pallara community offers new home alternatives thousands of dollars less than that figure.

Home and land packages at Stockland Pallara start at just $454,870 for a four-bedroom, two bathroom home, more than $200,000 below Brisbane’s latest median house price figures.

First home buyers are also eligible for the $20,000 Home Owners Grant when building a new home.

David Laner, Regional Manager for Stockland, said that land in the new residential community has already been released six months ahead of schedule at Pallara to keep up with buyer demand.

“With the median house price in Brisbane continuing to rise, it’s no surprise that we’re seeing strong interest in Pallara,” Mr Laner said.

“Its affordability coupled with a great location close to major shopping centres, private and public schools, motorways and public transport, means that it is an obvious choice for new home owners looking to build in Brisbane.”

Stockland’s Pallara community is located on the corner of Brookbent and Gooderham Roads in Brisbane’s south-western growth corridor.

Surrounded by lush natural bushland in the Brisbane City Council local government area and just 19km from the CBD, Pallara will offer convenient, family-friendly living at its very best.
