Brand new house and land packages at Stockland’s Sovereign Pocket residential community are proving considerably more affordable than the average established house according to latest figures from the Real Estate Institute of QLD (REIQ).

The REIQ revealed Ipswich’s median house price rose almost 1 per cent in the past 12 months to December 2016 taking the median house price to $322,700.

However, Stockland’s Sovereign Pocket community at Deebing Heights offers new home alternatives thousands of dollars less than that figure.

House and land packages at Stockland Sovereign Pocket start at just $308,466* for a three-bedroom home, positioning them $14,000 below Ipswich’s latest median house price figures.   David Laner, Regional Manager at Stockland, said that the community is attracting a lot of interest from young couples and families.

“Helping fuel sales has been continued low interest rates and the increased $20,000 Home Owners’ Grant enabling eligible first home buyers to secure a new home for just $288,466 at Sovereign Pocket,’’ he said.

Sovereign Pocket has easy access to the Centenary and Cunningham Highways, the RAAF base at Amberley and all the facilities of central Ipswich, the Ripley Valley and Springfield.
