Check out this easy pasta sauce recipe by Sashi Cheliah, Masterchef Australia Winner 2018, as cooked at the Stockland Home Sweeter Home event!

Easy Pasta Sauce



1 brown onion finely chopped

1 garlic cloves

1 cans of chopped tomatoes

50ml red wine

2tsp dry oregano

few drops of tobasco sauce


Black pepper

extra virgin olive oil


100g dried pasta Orechiette

½ bunch Basil

50g Parmesan



 Heat the olive oil on a large saucepan and saute the onion until soften. Add garlic, chopped tomatoes and red wine. Reduce the sauce until thicken and add oregano, tobasco, salt and pepper. Mix well and remove from heat.
