Amberton’s local community is a thriving hub of friendly sporting and recreational groups. Being active, having a sense of belonging and having a purpose in life all contribute to happiness and good mental health.

Amberton residents can select from a wide range of local activities to ensure they stay fit and healthy. Throw in a dose of fresh, seaside air and it’s no wonder the locals are glowing!


Alkimos Tigers Junior Rugby Club

The Alkimos Tigers Junior Rugby League Club continue to have training sessions every  Tuesday and Thursday evening, with the next home game this Sunday 30th July. Come down to the Amberton Playing Fields to cheer the teams on. Go Tigers!!


Seahawks Alkimos Districts Cricket Club

The Seahawks have landed at Amberton! The cricket club services Butler to Two Rocks with home games at Amberton Playing Fields. Anyone interested in being a part of the club please contact alkimosDCC@gmail.com. We looking forward to cheering the teams on!


All About Sport

These sessions are aimed at 2-5 year olds and will involve a range of fun activities. Participants are to bring a gold coin donation with all funds raised to be donated to a cancer research fund. The sessions every Tuesday at 10.30am-11.15am for 8 weeks beginning 25th July. www.allaboutsport.com.au


Free soccer classes are running from 8am-9.30am on Saturday mornings down at the Amberton Playing Fields for children ages 3+. Head down and say hello to find out more.
