Animal lovers and their pooches can’t get enough of a brand new dog adventure park at Stockland’s award-winning Vale community at Aveley. Located on Egerton Drive, the almost 1 hectare enclosed dog park has dedicated areas for small and large pooches and features an extensive range of equipment for agility training.

Col Dutton, Stockland General Manager for WA, said it was an exciting time for residents and their dogs at Vale which was recently named the best masterplanned
development at the Western Australian UDIA state awards.

“With so many families at our Vale community having a furry friend, it made sense to have a dedicated dog training park in the community,’’ Mr Dutton said. “We are just delighted that locals and visitors have responded so enthusiastically to this new facility. This dog park allows residents and visitors from the wider community to exercise their canines in a safe, off leash environment. It also gives animal lovers the chance to mingle with other like-minded people in the community.”

The Vale dog adventure park is the first of its kind to be launched at one of Stockland’s residential communities in WA, however, more are planned in other
communities in the near future.

Vale is located on the edge of the Swan Valley and will eventually have more than 5,000 homes. Convenience is at the heart of the Vale lifestyle, with 114 hectares of parkland and open space, a vibrant town centre, primary and secondary schools, sporting facilities and healthcare all located within the community.

The community has been a hive activity this year with work well underway on an adventure park opening mid-2017 near the dog park. Meanwhile, a new display village featuring 25 innovative designs from some of the state’s most awarded home builders opened in May.
